This paper is a version of the documentation created for the Estrella War 33 A&S competition entry updated to include the information on kymbala. I’m sure it will continue to evolve as new information is found.
Update: while researching girdles, I found a section of the Iliad in which Hera dons a tassel belt and documented it in this blog post. I’m not claiming that dancers wore tassel belts, but simply that they were known to the Greeks.
